Early serial number, built in Las Vegas by Shelby American, delivered missing only engine and transmission. Final assembly by Caldwells performance in Upland, Ca. Brushed aluminum body, Smith's gauges, Girling disc brakes, black vinyl interior, custom car cover, iron vintage H-block with matching heads, date coded Dec. '65, 427 Medium riser side-oiler. Shelby dual quad manifold with correct Ford Holley carbs, Wedge nodular iron '65 Cobra bell housing. Rebuilt correct 4 speed Ford top-loader trans. Correct '65 shifter with working reverse lockout. Salsbury independent rear with 3:54 posi. Engine oil cooler with correct style lines and fittings. Puke tank, chrome pent roof valve covers, hand formed custom aluminum hoodscoop, Simpson 4 point harness wth correct rollbar bracket, Raydot aluminum outside mirror. Dual electric fuel pumps as original, car runs on mechanical fuel pump with switch for electrics. Engine dyno'd at aproximatlly 450hp, original Aviad road race oil pan, external oil filter setup. Voltage regulator, starter solenoid, alternator, fuel log, fuel filter, air cleaner all 1965 type. 40 Hours of brushing into body, McLeod 12" pressure plate and disc, McLeod hydraulic throwout bearing. Car has been driven less than 100 miles. Titled as '65 Shelby Cobra, original owner, MSO from Shelby signed by Carroll himself.
