This is a low
milage 1967 GT 500 #1831. This car has a dealer installed 427
lower riser engine with a 4-speed toploader transmission. It
also has a 3.50:1 detroit locker rearend. This is one of 2048
(fewer in existence today) GT 500's built by Carroll Shelby in
1967 at the Los Angeles, California plant. The car was drag
raced in Ohio during the late 60's, 70's and 80's. This car
had a ground up resto in 1992. The is correct except for the
power steering which was removed during it's drag racing
years. It has the rare "inboard" lights and option "tenspoke"
wheels. The car has a documented history. Assembly was
completed on April 26 1967, and was shipped to Warner Ford
(Loveland, OH) on 5/5/67.
