car was built on 6/9/67 and shipped to dealer on
6/12/67 Original Owner: Jeffery
Wimperist of Murray Hill, NJ. Purchased on
9/5/67 Currently owned by: Allan
Chell of Lethbridge, Alberta,
Canada. Previously owned by: Don
Mathews of St. Albert, Alberta. Don sold the
car to Allan in September, 2000. Don Mathews had owned
the car for approximatly 20 years prior. When Don
bought it, the car had been stored in a garage for a
number of years after the original 428 engine had blown
on a drive from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Calgary, Alberta.
Don restored the car in the early 90s, at which time a
color change was performed (from the original Acapulco
Blue). Don, at this time also, replaced the 428 with a
correct 427 "Super Snake" conversion, emulating a dealer
conversion available based on a one-off Shelby factory
conversion. The 427 is topped off by a set of dual-quads
and was built by Dave Erickson of Quesnel, British
Columbia. The engine is a 427 Medium-Riser Side Oiler
with Dual 600 Holleys believed to put out over 550hp.
The car also has a 4-speed transmission, 4:11 rear end
with a Detroit Locker â No-Spinâ ť center section,
Shelby Traction Bars, Factory Shelby Roll Bar, optional
5-spoke Kelsey-Hayes "Mag Star" wheels. Engine has 5500

Condition Information
Restoration Completed in 1992.
Bodywork/Paint/Restoration completed by local Ford
Dealer. At this time, owner Converted original 428 to 427
in imitation of Factory Super-Snake conversion.
Car has
been kept in heated storage since restoration and driven only
5500 miles (approx.).Has had a complete color
change: Original Color: Acapulco Blue.
The odometer
currently shows approx 99900 miles. This mileage is believed
to be correct and original, but is not
documented.
Since then, this car has been well kept,
detailed extensively and cared for better than most
children. See above pictures. This Shelby is as nice as it
looks.

Obviously the Factory warranty on
this Shelby expired years ago and no warranty applies.
