Shelby GT500
Unrestored
original
VIN
#67410F7A00303
Here is our latest
find. Yes a real 1967 Shelby GT500 found in a barn in
Michigan. This is car number 0303. This car was originally
sold new in Michigan. The gentleman that I purchased this car
from states he bought this car in 1968 for the sole purpose of
drag racing. He raced this car from 1968 to 1977. When he
decided to put it away it was placed in his barn where it has
sat ever sense. The odometer on this car show it to have 23000
miles which this gentleman tells me original miles to this
car. It is an all original body panel car having no wreck
related damage. There is a small area on the driver side
interior trunk panel that has corrosion which appears to be
from the battery acid from the battery which he relocated to
the trunk. The interior is in great shape. The headliner looks
new. The seats, dash, and door panels are in great shape. The
carpet will need to be replaced. The gentleman who raced this
car indicated that the engine block was original but the
heads, intake and carbs are not. the vehicle has aftermarket
headers. This car was originally an automatic. The
transmission was removed and a 4 speed was installed. I have
the original C6 transmission. The Shelby Registy has this
information on this car. Original color Lime Green, black
interior, center mounted lights, louvered hood, Kelsey-Hayes
Magstar wheels, no air conditioning, function rear brake
cooling ducts, Detroit Locker rear axle. This car has its
original date coded glass. The doors open and close like the
car is new. It would not take very much time or money to make
this an outstanding show quality vehicle. The steering wheel
is great shape. The underdash gauges are still intact. This
car is reasonally priced and is listed for sale on other
websites and publications, therefore we reserve the right to
end the auction early if our buy it now price is met. We can
make arrangments to have the car shipped at a charge to the
buyer. Feel free to contact us if you have more questions.
