Description
1968 GT-350 4-speed
Vehicle Description

You are looking at a very rare car 1968 Shelby GT-350. This Documented 2 owner car has been well cared for as you can see from the photo’s. It has the stock 302 engine with the rare 4-speed manual transmission. The exterior is in great shape with only a few minor chips in the paint. There are no dents or rust in the body and NO RUST ON THE FLOOR Boards (see photo). This is a west coast car and has always been in dry weather which has allowed it to survive in great condition. The paint was original blue, and had been repainted about 10 years ago the same blue. The interior is black and in great shape. The seats have no rips or show any signs of wear, the carpet is in great condition, the headline is in great condition, as well as the dash. The mechanics of the car are great as well. The car starts right up without pumping the gas, it purrs like a kitten until you depress the gas pedal … the it roars like a lion. This car also is original equipped with the S2MS large letter aluminum high-rise manifold and special Shelby holly carburetor as documented in the Shelby registry. Included with the car is the owners manual, the two passed owners names, a original ford Shelby specification card, and a copy of the Shelby registry page which shows the cars history. The Shelby registry reads “Shipped to S&C motors, inc (San Francisco, CA) 5/2/68. Original owner Kit Krieger (Virgina City, NV) purchased the car from a salesman at S&C named Al Rivera. The car was equipped with the S2MS large letter aluminum high-rise manifold and special Shelby holly carburetor. As a new owner, Kreiger didn’t have to worry about the traditional new car break in period as the car was delivered to his front door, driven from San Francisco, CA by Rivera. Krieger still owns the car” That was the information found in the Shelby registry which was published in 1997. Krieger sold the car to the current owner … and now it is for sale. The car has a free and clear title and is ready for the new owner. I can take photos of any specific area, just ask. Please only serious bidders. This car is being sold as is and the buyer will be responsible for transportation. For those of you who will need other info: The buck tag (yes it is still on the car) reads 115 5 09D 63B FDS 5A 8T02JXXXXX D ACA BU MT SA PB PS DE TC RB ST. The door tag (yes it is on the car) reads 8T02JXXXXX (VIN #) 63B (body) D(color) 5A(trim) 08D(date) 8D28115 (DSO) 1(axle) 5(tranny). I am reluctant to post the vin number since there are so many clones serching for a vin. Email me if you absolutley need the vin and are a serious buyer and I will be glad to help.

Vehicle Condition

Overall Great condition. As mention above the paint has a few minor chips from usage. The radio has been replaced along with the antenna.

Terms of Sale

Deposit required within 48hours, full payment must be recieved within 5 business days.

On Jul-07-02 at 11:13:02 PDT, seller added the following information:

I made a typo in the DSO number, it should be 8D2845. The intake and carb set-up ARE FACTORY SHELBY SPECIAL ADDITION, this is a VERY rare combination and is documented in the shelby registery. The trunk does contain the checker pattern cover ... even on the spare tire. I believe everything to be original on the car, which I did verify the intake number.
