This is one of 933
KR's built and one of the less than 30 painted a special color
for late 1968, YELLOW. 428 Cobra-Jet engine; C-6 Automatic
Trans.; Koni shocks; Lucas running lights; Sequential
tail/brake/signal lights; Philco "AM" radio (needs tuned in);
Factory Shelby roll-bar with harness; and has 5 of the Shelby
original 10 spoke wheels.
The interior is the deluxe basketweave; woodgrain dash;
cobra embossed in center console armrest. The interior is
totally 68 original except for the headliner, carpet, dash
pad, bezels, and door panels are all about 15 years old and
still look new.
The engine has only been cleaned up, has not been out of
the car like some of the ones that are out there. This car is
in some respects as nice as many of the newer ones today.

The biggest
problem with this KR is the fact that it does not have enough
miles and so many people do not believe that a 1968 can have
only 31,146 total actual miles. Another problem is that when I
do take her out; I have a problem with gawkers wanting to
touch, or open the hood, or get in and sit behind the
wheel....now you can have that problem.
The Philco AM radio was sent off and checked out and was
told to get it tuned in. The tachometer quit working about a
year ago and I never had it checked out since I do not drive
the car very much. This is a super driver, grabs attention as
you drive by or while sitting at light. This car has never
been abused, raced, or left in the weather....has never been
driven on wet roads since I purchased this car in 1974 as the
second owner. The only time it has been in the rain is when I
have it entered in S. FL car shows. Please e-mail me with any

also imploy anyone that is interested in a Classic such as
this to contact the national clubs....Like Mustang Club of
America and/or Shelby American Auto Club or any other club or
body and ask questions about the car that you are bidding on.
