| You are bidding on
a 1969 Shelby GT 500 that is in VERY good condition. This is
believed to be a 28,000 mile original car. At this time I am
waiting on documentation confirming a complete title history
from the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles. I bought
this car from the third owner who stored it for the last 19
years.
In 1980 the car was painted and had rear quarter skins put
on. There has been no touch-ups or any paint work required
since that time. The paint is driver quality. There has also
been some repair work at the corners of the doors. The
interior is in excellent condition. There are no rips in any
of the seats and the carpet looks to be new. There are several
small cracks in the door panels. The dash has a crack at the
speaker hole and has a plastic dash cover over it. The
original AM/FM stereo works very nicely. Both front and rear
bumpers are replated and in very nice condition. Brakes are
excellent with no pulling. It will need a complete tune up as
this has not been done in 19 years. The underside of the car
is in very nice condition and will only need minor attention
in a few spots.
With very little work this can be a very nice driver. To be
a show car it will need a complete restoration.
I could only put 6 pictures on this auction. I have many
more available upon request. I can also provide any pictures
that you specifically would like to see. Please contact me if
you would like pictures or any additional information. I am
open to a buy-it-now offer if you would like to contact me at
440-773-8318 to discuss. SERIOUS calls only, please. If you
have any other questions, please ask them before bidding.
