We all have seen a lot of classic cars for sale they
are claimed to be concourse restorations, but when we
inquire at which show and by whom the car was judged or
if they have judging sheets we always get the same
reply.( oh I haven't shown it but I know it's concourse
or it hasn't been judged, but it's a concourse car) Well
I can tell you the reason why. I personally showed this
car which is the pride of my private collection and
S.A.A.C. 27 in Fontana Calif. and watched while four
judges spent an hour and forty-five minutes picking my
car apart, what an experience that was. At the end I'm
proud to say this awesome Shelby WON THE GOLD as
verified by the letter from S. A. A. C.
Now let me tell you about this awesome car. I've
owned many highly restored and original survivor cars.
This truly is the best. This car started out as a rust
free, damage or accident free vehicle, It was rotisserie
restored to concourse quality, this car is fresh and has
less than 2 miles on the complete restoration (driving
on and off the trailer) This is one of 90 Shelby GT500
produced that was reserialized for 1970 model year, this
car was built on June 9, 1969 and has the famous 428
Cobra Jet engine, C6 automatic transmission, air
conditioning, power top, deluxe interior, and everything
works properly. One thing that makes this rarest Shelby
ever produced it was originally produced in Lavender
(purple). This is a mistake car as indicated in the
Shelby registry this is the one that everybody wishes
they owned. When the car was restored, being that there
was no paint code on the data tag as it was a special
color, it was painted Grabber blue. Even though this car
is a color change it still WON THE GOLD. that's just how
nice it is.
This Shelby has all the correct components including
smog, Lucas fog lights, air cleaner, snorkel, s tube and
heat shield, it also has all it's original rust free
body panels, floor pans, trunk drops, ect. This is a
48500 mile car. I have the original window sticker,
Marti elite report, letters from Shelby automotive
regarding the paint, original prototype owners manual
and other misc. papers.
Please bid only if you are serious about purchasing
the best and rarest Shelby ever produced. This car is a
trailer concourse gold winner. It's fresh, it's perfect,
and it's a winner.
