it restored the way he wanted it restored, not necessarily by
the concourse-judging book (he did not want to be afraid to
drive it). Mr. Z. wanted to drive the car and wanted it to
work well - Mr. Z. ascertained the original 4-speed
transmission in late 1993 and never re-installed it. Car was
sold to Stephen G. Becker, LLC of Atlanta, Georgia in 2003.

Condition |

Car was "ground
up" restored approximately 12 years ago and has had 8,339
miles put on it since that time. Odometer was re-set to zero
at the time of the restoration so current millage shows as
8,339 Car has nicks and scratches but looks good. Car also has
the usual fiberglass 1/2 inch hairline cracks around front of
hood and several door dings/chips on passenger side of car
(can be color sanded and blended – no big deal for new owner
to do) - This car is a great driver car and should be bought
as such - It is NOT a trailered, concourse correct show car
and was not restored to be that way or the former owner would
have never been able to bring himself to drive it! Car has had
a new top put on it and it appears that the car has never had
any rust and/or wreck history. Car also appears to be a
matching numbers car with all correct tags (including ultra
rare Shelby body buck tag) in place and verified thru SAAC
(Shelby American Automobile Club).
